Easter EGG hunt

I was happy to know, when I woke up this morning to more RAIN, that we had plans. We were invited to my friend, Rae's, house for an Easter egg hunt. It turned out great with only one major emotional breakdown by MY CHILD...go figure! Savanna was all about collecting the eggs until she found the car ramp and realised she could roll them down.

She was also a fan of JK's train table, and of course, the CHOCOLATE that was inside the eggs. A great time was had by all, but I think my favorite part was when someone showed up late and we'd hurry and hide a few eggs and ALL the kids would get back in on the action by "helping" the hunter find the prize. The question of us all was do you let your kids eat all the candy right then & there so you don't have to hear about it later, or do you stretch the candy consumption over a few days? Luckily, Savanna didn't discover the candy on her own eggs, but I think she stole a few from others. She also found her inner Punk Rock Princess with the help of JK, or was that hindrance?

Thanks for the fun times Rae, we'll play again soon!

isn't easter so fun? especially with kids. I miss teaching Kindergarten and doing all the fun stuff but now I still can get my fix by doing it with my kids:)
