"Bummer...uh, Congratulations!"

Not only did Chris graduate this past week from Boston Architectural Center, but as we found out today, he got a new job! Yeah to us!! We are so excited to finally feel like life is moving forward. We know that family back in Utah we pulling for us to relocate there, but we are moving West. Well, more West than Boston. We'll be moving to Connecticut ASAP--we're shooting for the end of July. We're hoping to buy our first home with a yard for the monster. If things move along quick and smooth I think we can. I am super excited to finally have a place in which our little family can fit and grow, but I'm totally bummed to be moving away from such an awesome ward. I've made some good friends and had some good times too! I guess I won't be that far away and we'll just have to plan for a "girls weekend" sometime, somewhere. The clock is now ticking on getting this hole packed up and I'm leaving for 3 weeks to visit the Fam. I would trust Chris to do it, but then again, I'll just have to find someone to pawn "the evil one" off too for a few hours each week, or day if I'm lucky. :) I'm just so excited I could pee! Yeah! Finally! Way to go Sweetie!

A week of fun in just a few pictures

Just chillin' why everyone searches for Mommy's ring....Sand chips--YUM!!

All pooped out, but not enough to miss the rides...

Nemo & Epcot can be a little too much to take--I took her home early after a near "attack of the devil child."

Florida = Fun Times had by ALL

Some might go to Orlando to meet Mickey Mouse, but as you can see, Savanna was just as pleased to meet herself!

As hectic and hot as everything was we had a blast hanging out with the fam. Savanna met her uncle "Coco" for the first time and they were instant friends. He'd chase her and play peek-a-boo. Actually I think she's going through attention & entertainment withdrawls since being home, and it's only been 24 hours. I can honestly say "Thank goodness we don't have stairs." She thought it was great fun to climb them, but she's not so sure about going down. Everytime we'd turn our head at the house, she'd be halfway up just a giggling. I'm not sure how she felt about the rides at Magic Kingdom, but Chris and I both think that SeaWorld was her favorite. NOT! I have never experienced an "official tantrum" until we got there. I'm in for quite the fun time coming up. Yeah to me! Savanna and I only made it an hour and a half at the park and then I had to leave or kill her...I chose the first option. Besides her little outbursts she's quite the trooper and beach babe too! Thanks Nana and Papa we have memories to last a lifetime!!!

Ducky Love

I've embarrassed to say that as long as we've lived here I've never noticed the blossoms at springtime. Luckily I have Amber to help me see all these wonderful pros about the east coast. Amber and I had big plans to go into the city and hang out for a while, but weather and children changed that and so we just took a quick trip while Sam ran an errand. I was in love with the flowers, some of which I've never seen before, and excited to take my first ride on the famous swan boats. Savanna was a fan of the ducks...alive and not so much. She kept holding out her arm and following them around. I'll definitely have to remember to take her to feed the ducks just down the street.

Slumber Party at the Densley's

Savanna was so excited when she woke up Tuesday morning and saw that she had a new friend. Poor Rachel, Savanna has been her shadow for the last 2-3 days. It makes me laugh to see her mimic everything. Rachel is so good to her and explains how all of her toys work. I was hoping to keep all the noisy owns on the DL but Rachel knows all about all the little buttons and switches, so now Savanna is quite excited to turn them on. Too bad our new tenants can't stay forever because the girls keep each other entertained and I've been able to carry on some much needed adult conversation. Welcome back Amber & Sam--even if it is just for a few days.
(I recommend all families invest in an air mattress. It has provided hours of fun for the girls.)

Thursday is my favorite day!!!!!

I love Thursday nights! It's my time to check out of reality and pretend I'm truly a part of Seattle Grace, a Survivor contestant, and a CSI team member. Chris laughs because he's remembers when I worked retail I told him that my least favorite part of the job was "missing my night-time TV." I will admit that tonight all parenting duties lie on Chris--well, at least from 9-10pm. Right now he's playing XBOX...his Thursday night escape. We've learned that in our marriage it's best that we each have our "escape" and sometimes I like that fact that he's busy with the boys and not bugging me. Well, I just retire to bed for a few hours before the child wakes up bright and early to tell me all about her dreams. Mornings are now my favorite time of EVERY day because she's so happy and excited for another day. I could learn a lot for her and all her ONE YEAR old wisdom. Goodnite!

It's HOT outside

So it's a little "white trash" but it works and she's HAPPY! I laughed that she found the soda bottles to be more entertaining than the pool itself. Typical! I had the pool all set up and then I realized that since we're in an apartment and don't have a hose, filling it up was going to be a problem. Then I remembered the food storage water. I knew I kept it for a reason. It was time to rotate the bottles too, so I was able to kill to birds with one stone. This doesn't happen to often with Savanna around so I was stoked. Maybe next time she'll actually get in the pool. I know I will if it gets hot enough...that would make quite the photo opportunity.

A day at the park...

It was so nice today that Mom couldn't resist and we just HAD to go outside and play. I took Savanna out and we looked for a "different" park, but to no avail. I don't know why, but I found myself surprised at how quickly she took to the sand--digging, throwing, & eating too! Soon she dropped the toys and took to the playground. This little tube is her favorite. We play peek-a-boo with each other at the different ends. I wanted to get a picture of her coming down the slide, but I figured it was better to catch her at the bottom. One day we'll get a snapshot of the huge smile she has the whole time! It's hilarious! We topped this trip off with a picnic and she must have been starving because I've NEVER seen her eat so much. Right now it's nap time...ta ta!

Yeah to ME!

So I found to perpitrator of the damage...some punk chick and her boy toy. Well, I guess her mom wasn't too happy that we're making her repair our car, but I think it might have more to do with the fact that the duahgter didn't tell us initally. I must say that I am glad that's over and we can now get our car fixed, but I am quite proud of my investigative abilities. (I knew watching all those crime shows wasn't a waste of my time.) Sorry there are no pictures this time, but there really hasn't been a reason to take one. The Savmister has begun the "terrible two's" a bit early. She is actually quite entertaining to watch. I think you can post short videos, so if I can catch her in the act we can all get a good chuckle. I have noticed that I seem to have a positive attitude about all of her outbursts, well, they haven't actually happened in public or when I am in a hurry, so I am sure that will change. I must mention that Chris is in the FINAL weeks of school and I can't wait to enjoy the summer together. The are so many things that I want to do and see around here. I am counting down the days...I know Chris is too, but Savanna will just notice that her daddy isn't at the computer all the time. hee, hee. This whole week is suppose to be really nice here, so I am hoping to get myself and the child to the beach for some "shell hunting".

Just our Luck...

I guess it was bound to happen sometime, but we've been so proud of our "un-bostonized" car. I noticed it this morning and totaly thought I was at the wrong car. I am so peeved that they didn't leave a note that I have personally been inspecting every car in our parking lot...when I find the perpetrator I've going to have a word! Okay, so really I have nothing else to do and I feel like leaving a "nasty" note on someone's car...teach Savanna how to hold her own. Just kidding, she doesn't need any training there. I'll update on my search for the vehicle of destruction. I have a hunch of the race and age of the driver, but I'm not saying anything.
