a little background: Chris and i were planning and excited to spend our first Christmas in the east with our little girl, in our little home, with good friends we consider family. with Chris's grandparents serving a mission in Washington, D.C. we were planning to spend some time with them over the holidays as well. back in October Chris applied for a job in Utah and when they called to see if he'd be willing to fly out for an interview on Dec 15th and work for a week...we saw an opportunity we couldn't pass up. I owe a lot to my sister, Jenn. She played interference and diverted all gifts to her basement and not the post office. a big Thank You to the entire Densley family for not spilling the beans. as you can see...my mom had no idea. for all she knew we where driving to D.C. for a little R&R with the grandparents and that is why we our cell phones were unavailable.

christmas surprise
the best Christmas present EVER!
i don't know how i kept it a secret for all this time, but i did and i am happy it wasn't spoiled. i can't even explain how good it feels to be able to make my mom's Christmas wish come true.

looks like fun! I had to laugh when all the crying started :-)
Awww. I have always wanted to do that. Good job pulling off the surprise! Your mom is so sweet and happy. I love it.
How sweet of you guys to go visit your parents. I've pulled this little trick off by myself but I am assuming it's much harder with a talking child around! Enjoy the time with your family!

Kim, What a great way to surpise your Mom!!! When she was doing my hair just before Thanksgiving she said how much she missed you and how hard it was going to be not having you guys home for Christmas!! I couldn't stop crying when I watched the video. Merry Christmas to all of you.
