need to get this off my chest
it seems there's been a grey cloud hovering over my head for a few days now. for moments it will disappear, but when it returns it brings showers {as in tears}. i've chalked it up to PMS, stress, etc., but weird things are happening. i'm getting offended, upset, and irritated over things that have never bothered me before. it seems that those who are closest to me are those who i would rather avoid at present. i am not motivated to do the things i normally find enjoyable. i will admit that i am one to hold a grudge and pull the attitude out from time to time, but this new personality is one i am not use too. hopefully it's just a phase of "hormones gone wild" because of all things this could be, i know I AM NOT PREGNANT!

weekend wrap-up
Luckily Daddy arrived Friday before bed and fun was had by all. I'm not sure who missed him more, myself or Savanna. She mentioned it more often, but I had to sleep with lights on all over the house AND take out the garbage--eeeewwwweee!
Saturday morning Daddy was greeted by a bright and bubbling girl ready for fun. I on the other hand was forgotten and slept in--not that I complained. We were lazy and just hung out together watching cartoons. The it was PARTY TIME!!
There was musical chairs, pizza, cake, and a clown.

--but first...a little "party hair" CUTE!!
There was musical chairs, pizza, cake, and a clown.
Thanks to "Arturo" the clown, kids were crying and hiding.
That is, until the balloons were unveiled. . .
{check out that "op-i-tus"}
{did i mention there was a pirate there too? grrrr!}
Savanna was ubber-excited to receive her "puppy" and mommy was excited that she wasn't crying anymore :) Thanks Enya for turning 4!

happy list
- My happy list begins with USA PRIDE! I love, love, love the Olympics. We've caught the "Olympic fever" around our house. Savanna's even gotten in on the action. Although video of her gymnastic debut is not available, it's a gold medal performance every time. I am a little relieved that swimming {a.k.a Michael Phelps} is over. I was becoming quite the couch potato and I was slacking in every aspect of reality...mothering excluded--I fed, diapered, and entertained {or changed the dvd}. My lack of sleep has begun to takes it's toll and my schedule needs some tampering, but PHELPS is not human!
- Little Miss Mischievous. There is rarely a dull moment. She decided to take bath time into her own hands after a rainstorm and I caught her in the act.
- Overhearing my hubby's running commentary about having a "fun and rewarding experience" while constructing our outdoor gazebo. {the instructions actually said that about the process...hilarious!}
- Stepping back after a day of projects and seeing all the hard work pay off. New table, new rug, and new paint color. I am sooo happy how it turned out!

If I'm MIA more than usual {which would be really bad} it's all KP's fault. She's gotten me addicted to facebook.com. I love snooping into past boyfriends and classmates lives. It just seems so scandalous that it's hard to resist. I've found friends I haven't talked to in YEARS! It's great!! It's like the fountain of youth via Internet access :) Who knows maybe I'll even make some new "friends".
